It’s So Damn Good
Wild Turkey is world famous, and there’s good reason why. We take great care to make sure the Bird is at its best.
The water we use is the purest water in all of town, thanks to a natural limestone shelf. Our USA-grown grains are held to stricter standards than those used by the Feds. And the yeast we use in the fermentation process is made using a top-secret formula that’s been passed down for generations.
Kentucky’s cold winters and warm summers mature our bourbon more quickly and improve its quality. We age Wild Turkey in new white oak #4 alligator char barrels. These have the heaviest (and most expensive) deep-layer alligator char, which gives our bourbons extra depth of flavor and that deep auburn color.
Wild Turkey is distilled at a lower proof. This seals in its taste, and makes it possible for us to add very little water when the bourbon comes out of the warehouse. As a result, our full-flavored bourbons taste like you’re drinking straight from the barrel.
